Last tour day has us doing a boat tour to see more of Antelope canyon. It was windy and cold out there but we endured the coldness for the 90 minute tour. This huge boat was run by 3 native women ,Captain and helpers. The lake level ha dropped over 125 feet in the last decade due to the "drought". Lots of challenges and changes for anyone dealing with boats ,piers , boat ramps etc. The tour took us over to this side of the dam and then into the narrow canyons, quite a feat for a 50 ft boat!
The hike up and down to the water level had lots of people taking a break from the decline and incline. For those who needed help with this challenge the tour operators were running golf carts carrying folks who needed the help. After this ride we boarded the bus for the long ride back to Yuma.
