A lazy 10 am start to the day and through the Railway Bridge we went.
We had plenty of room to spare either side.
It being a bit grey this morning and absolutely no wind the wind machines were all at a stand still.
we disturbed the swans - they were not happy that we were encroaching their terrritory and nattered at us - wouldn't get out of the way,
just flew off a short distance and nattered at us again until we were out of their home area.
This year's Cynets got their dander up too.
We only went a short distance (an hour) and decided to moor up and walk into the town of Crowle, which according to our guide book was full of history. It was about a mile into the town and we had fish and chips for lunch in the market square.
Unfortunately the 16th Century church was all locked up. A lot of buildings still standing from the 1800's.
A slow walk back to the boat and a rest for the afternoon.
