The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

Today we left the Netherlands and headed north into Germany. Our destination was Carolinensiel-Harlesiel on the North Sea coast. We found the stellplatz and there was no problem getting in, doing a dump, but finding a pitch which did not have too much of a slop was another story. In the end we went across two pitches with the drain in the middle. We looked around, although the stellplatz was paved (really a big car-park) all of the pitches were sloped too much and we noticed even the smaller motorhomes were having problems. The other thing we had to contend with was a really strong wind. Welcome to the North Sea coast!
