Walk to waterfront

I spent the morning exploring Niagara-On-The-Lake - a charming town just minutes after crossing into Canada from Buffalo N.Y. The Shaw Festival is what most people come for but it's worth visiting just for the small main street and all of it's charms. The path along the waterfront makes for an easy stroll to enjoy the view. Next time I am in this neck of the woods it won't be for a morning - it will be for a few days.

Once again, it rained, but worse than that was the wind. Yesterday it was 91 degrees in Buffalo and I was steaming in the car. Today it got down to 44 as I crossed Canada heading for Michigan. The wait to cross the Blue Water Bridge and go through customs at Sarnia was 30 minutes. I was swaying in the breeze at the top of the bridge for half of that time.

Eventually, I was on I94 and as I passed through Utica I stopped to give Karen a hug before going on to Spencer's house. After a quick hello ( he had a commitment this evening) I came to Miho's where I will be staying for this visit. Owen has temporary use of "my" room at Spencer's and there is no need to upset that routine.
