The weather today promised us winds up to 65 kph starting when we started our tour. Luckily that forecast changed somewhat. We started out very cold this am with snow flurries on our way in. As soon as we left Kayenta the sun was trying to break through.
On our arrival the weather warmed up the clouds began to part and the wind had not yet started.
We did a 3 hour tour and on the very last pullover, the wind came up with a vengance. By the time we returned back to the tour center for lunch, it was a blowing dust bowl,never been in that before. The winds threw our bus all over the road for the next hour plus on the way over to
Page. We has a great time today and arrived here in
Page at 5:30pm exhausted.
