Another glorious day so we decided we would put on our walking boots once again. This time we decided to explore the coast east of Wismar starting from a place called Rerik.

Driving through the countryside to Rerik it felt as if we were back in Prince Edward Island, Canada with beautiful rolling farmland and pretty sea inlets.

From Rerik after morning coffee for Tony (he gets grumpy if he doesn’t have his morning latte!) and a bit of a search to find the cliff path we headed east. The path was suppose to be in places for walkers only but we regular had to stop for bikes trying to make their way along the narrow path.

It was a lovely walk, mainly shady which was a good thing, with fine views of the Baltic.
