Downloaded from the official JFK International Airport website by Kevork

John F Kennedy Airport (JFK) is New York's busiest airport, handling over 30 million passengers each year through nine terminals. JFK International Airport currently hosts over 80 airlines traveling to domestic and international destinations. Located 15 miles (24 kilometers) southeast of downtown Manhattan in the New York City borough of Queens, JFK Airport offers excellent facilities for travelers and transport links to Manhattan.

New York International Airport opened for commercial flights in 1948 and was renamed JFK Airport in 1963. John F Kennedy Airport has undergone a multi-million dollar development program, including a major redevelopment of International Terminal 4 and a new road and light rail system.
