Swan on the beach

The Baltic Sea

Swallows nesting in the cliff

Today was a public holiday in Germany so anywhere you went was busy. We decided to head to the coast from Wismar to find a walk. The sun was back today with clear blue skies and a light wind. We went to the town of Boltenhagen on the coast. The first part was along the promenade of the town which was very busy but once we were clear of the town we met fewer people although there was assailers and model airplanes enthusiasts both using the good thermals along the cliffs

By the time we returned to the car we realised we had walked a good five miles or more but it had been an enjoyable walk.
