The Road Back

At breakfast, John tells me that Moab is not the sleepy little desert town he was expecting. “Who Knew?” Obviously, many people knew. This town is jumping!

I like our latest RV Park. It is similar to staying in a state park. Everyone is up and about early. Everyone is getting ready to play. Many people have ATV’s. Some people are going hiking or rock climbing. Some are going on the river. Everyone looks ready for an adventure.

We go for a motorcycle ride. We follow the Colorado River upstream. We pass through the Colorado River Recreation Area. There are campgrounds. There is a bike path and hiking trails. There are places to launch boats, rafts or kayaks.

The scenery is again beautiful. We are in a canyon. The other side of the river is Arches National Park. The only negative is that it is again very windy!

We go about fifteen miles upstream before turning around. It is just a morning ride. We have chores to do in the afternoon. Tomorrow, we move on.
