From Mueller State Park we drove 400 miles into Green River Utah, from cool to 103 degrees. The drive was beautiful - drove through Glenwood Canyon, which is 30 miles of spectacular views. Glenwood Canyon is where the Colorado River leaves Colorado and spills into Utah and AZ to form the Grand Canyon. Evening we arrived in campground, there was a dust storm followed by hugh thundersttorm and a "mico burst".
Spent a day seeing the Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park. Pictures do not do the area justice, but the beauty of it all is incredible. One could, and should, spend days hiking (short ones), but we did everything that time permitted and hope to return another time during a cooler time of year.
Saw lots of 4-wheel driving and white water rafting. Great area for outdoor adventure.
