Statue of King Alfred

Church 1

Church 3

Church 4

Clock1

Clock 2

Surprise,surprise, surprise!!!

We moved on to Pewsey this morning, expecting to have to pass through, but we just managed to squeeze into a spot which must have been vacated very recently.

This statue of King Alfred stands at an intersection in the village and was erected to show the local approval of the crowning of King George V.

A lovely big old church dating back to around 900AD,

There isn't a clock face on the Church tower, the ancient clock rings on the hour.
