We arrived in Nha Trang at 6 in the morning on a Sunday, and to our surprise the beach was packed with locals exercising, playing games, jogging, swimming, etc.. etc.. It all seemed a bit odd since I was on a sleeper bus tired and cracked out of my mind from the lack of sleep and everyone outside was up and running around as if it were in the middle of the day or something! Nha Trang's beach front is very impressive and clean with plenty of grass and areas to sit in the shade, annd lounge chairs available to rent for the day on the beach. There are also vendors on the beach selling anything from beers, water, fruit, jewelry, so you don't really have to move unless to go to the toilet.

Sure the beach was nice and relaxing, but that isn't why I stopped here. I made this a stop because of it's well known diving spots. I was able to complete 3 advanced dives at a very reasonable price. Since I got my deep and night diving signed off in Thailand, I had to choose 3 more specialty dives in order to get my advanced card. I went for Bouyancy, Navigation and Photography. I really enjoyed the 3 dives and was able to see many interesting fish and different types of coral. I definitely favored this area for eye candy than my other dive spots in Thailand
