|Arrived into Naxos without a place to say but my guidebook had a place recommended so I decided to try to find the guy holding up the sign for that place. With luck on my side, I found him and he looked like a decent guy. Threw my bags into his car and we drove out to Pension Irene II. The place was owned and run by his mother in law. Gorgeous place. I had my own room again with a kitchen this time.
After settling in I took a walk around the town and tried to navigate the streets. Watched some people fishing off the pier. Sat on a gorgeous beach for a few hours. The sand was really soft and golden. The water was so warm and was really shallow for a long ways out.
Made my own dinner tonight of some pasta and vegetables. Went for a short walk in the evening. Very laidback kind of island.
