Leaving Hyannis and headed for Plymouth.

We decided to drive to Cape Cod and Plymouth thinking a Friday would be better than Saturday for crowds. It is going to be 90 degrees and thought an air conditioned car was a way to spend the day. With a lot of traffic we opted for a exit to the Hamlet of Sandwich. It was a good choice. Typical New England Hamlet with restaurants, antique and other shops. While Diana is shopping, Larry is walking Marley up the streets. While walking past a street T-shirt vendor, who was a young girl, she liked Marley and had to pet him. She also liked to talk and told us everything about her town. Mainly she mention their Boardwalk and that we had to see it. So after shopping we went to see the boardwalk.

We decided to continue to Hyannis Port for lunch and to look around. It was a bad idea on a Friday. It is a city with all the typical stores, narrow streets and a lot of traffic. A small scale New York City. We had lunch at Chick-fil-A and left. On our way back there was little traffic going north. The southbound was three lanes of bumper to bumper for 15 or 20 miles. We were glad we got out.

We then headed for Plymouth MA.
