The campground we are in has been here for many years. It is family owned and kept up to date, but rustic. They have donkeys and ponies to pull wagon rides. Their cabana for events is very large and surrounded by a fence with towers to make it look like a fort. It even has 3 Conestoga wagons along the perimeter.
We chose this place because it was 50 miles from Connecticut that has the only Wells Fargo banks in New England. We are closing on our new home this week and required our bank. We are about 40 miles from Plymouth Ma. and another 40 or so to Cape Cod, a couple of places we would like to see before heading North.
We have been to Boston And Salem before and have walked the Freedom Trail, so we did not want to do it again in this heat and humidity. We will bypass Boston heading north.
