There are Pill boxes in many spots along the canal and it seems they are heritage listed.

This mornings journey took us through some more reed beds, thankfully these were wider and deeper, making it easier to traverse.
4 locks and a rise of 23'11" today. We had a light shower of rain during the journey but the sun came out for most of the trip.
We are here for the weekend only as the moorings are 48 hours maximum. We've passed through some lovely woodland and countryside today, it's nice to be back in the country.
