We had now completed our exploration of Jutland so headed south and east again to the middle main island called Funen or Fyn. For us it was a long journey just over 200 miles but mainly on motorways so easy driving but boring.

We arrived at the campground at Hasmark Strand just north of Odense. It was very busy with "rug rats" or "ankle biters". You can tell it was now the school holidays.

As drove to our site we noticed there was a Norwegian registered Southwind American motorhome. This was our first American motorhome we had seen on this trip. Also in Denmark Danish motorhomes of any sort are very few as they have to pay 180% tax on any new motorised vehicle!

We chilled out for the evening after our long drive.
