The next morning

Saturday saw us having a late breakfast before getting ready for Tom and Emily’s wedding at a nearby hotel. The wedding was certainly not your usual white wedding .It was very informal and very enjoyable. Emily broke all traditions by wearing blue and taking Tom with here to buy the dress! The wedding had both a nautical and Dr Who theme (both keen fans). She looked lovely and they both enjoyed the day particularly the surprise musical sketch performed by four of their friends. Lucy and Rosie the two bridesmaids were adorable and Lucy surprised everyone (even her Mum and Dad) how she choreographed the adults in the evening dancing. The wedding also gave us the opportunity to catch up with Phillip (Tony’s younger brother) and meet the new great niece Lydia Helena born in January to Phillip’s daughter Judith.

The following morning we joined the happy couple and a number of the other guest for a walk in Southwold. Daisy even got some free dog training from Tom’s best man another Tom.
