The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

It was very good.

Fields of flowers everywhere.

Our vegetable supermarket.

We are back at Timberland CG for 2 reasons. We had 3 nights to spend until our reservations for Liberty Park CG and this is close. The other is that while we were here prior to Atlantic City, our automatic step quit. We had a service guy come look at it. He had to order a new gear for it and we are back to have it installed.

While here we drove into Trenton and found the oldest Tomato Pie place in the US., since 1912. Curious? It is a very good Pizza. We went early and were glad we did. The place filled up with people who were regulars. Everybody knew everyone except us.

A older than us couple came in the same time we did and were seated next to us. We ordered the large pep/saus thinking we can take some home. The couple next to us ordered the same and got theirs after us. They ate the whole thing when we were half through ours. We did take the other half home.

We also drove into Jersey City in the car. The parkways in NJ/NY are for cars only and secondary roads have lots of low bridges. We tried one way in on a state hwy that had a couple of those low overpasses. We returned on the thruway with no problems. They have two three lane highways side by side and high profile vehicles must stay in the right/outside lanes.

Also in Jersey you do not make left turns much. They have right turn loops to a loop that takes you to a traffic light. Then you cross completing your left. By the time we get use to that we will be out of here.

We also did some fresh vegetables shopping, it is the season here.
