12th - 15th October

Well it's been an action packed 2.5 days, i'm exhausted, but Sydney has been pretty awesome actually. It's like London in the summer (32 degrees today) with ferries instead of tubes, and well, amazing beaches! Weird actually, kinda made me miss home, it's the most English place i've been yet, the street names are the same...oxford street, liverpool street, even hyde park! Wandering amongst with all the office workers on their lunch breaks, seeing them all party on a friday night...

Bondi was amazing, loved it there, it was rammed, grat atmospphere, everyone was really young, but kinda poser heaven, and girls, the most extensive bikini shops you've ever come across!

So, it's goodbye Australia for me, for now at least, i've about 10 hours left here, and it's been such fun, tad commercial at times, but then again I did choose to see the east coast, which is probably the most commercial of all. Whitsundays were a huge highlight, along with Town of 1770 and probably Byron Bay. Best moment...getting pooed on by a seagul earlier whilst sat on the steps of the opera house (nah only kidding...it's just one of my friends I met in Cairns emailed to say she'd had a bird poo and it landed in her mouth whilst sunbathing!!!) On that note...farewell Oz, land of bottle shops, and barbecues by the beaches...it's been a blast, next time I'll come and see the outback! x
