We leave West Yellowstone and head back into Yellowstone National Park. At Madison Junction, we turn south toward Old Faithful.

We take the Firehole Canyon Drive. This is where Gus fished. Of course, it was not in May! It is a beautiful drive.

Continuing on, we stop at three different geysers basins. I walk a boardwalk at each one. John kids me that I have to see every bit of steam that comes out of the ground.

We pass Old Faithful and again cross the Continental Divide two times. At West Thumb, we head south. We cross the Continental Divide again. The road out of the park to the south is wonderful. It is a winter wonderland.

We leave Yellowstone National Park and drive the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Highway. We cross into Grand Teton National Park. The mountains are beautiful but we are getting a little tired.

We drive through Jackson Hole. Our campground is ten miles south. We are glad to settle in and get good WIFI.

Campground: Snake River KOA
