Our first and only pink Flamingo.

We know that Palm Beach sounds like Florida and water. The truth is we are in West Palm Beach, which is at least 20 miles from water. We are at the Lion Country Safari KOA campground, which seems to be right in the middle of equestrian country. They are having Polo Matches near here.

The other part is the campground is associated with Lion Country Safari, which is right next door. When we checked in they asked if we wanted to do the safari drive. We said no until they offered a package that saved us close to $100 on camp fees and two tickets to the safari. We took the offer, so you get to see lots of pictures of animals. They should have named the place Ostrich Safari Country. They were everywhere!

That all said, it was a very nice campground, and we had a nice lot with a big yard for the dogs. Other than the safari we did some shopping and laundry again. Also more time straightening out credit cards from our problem in Miami.
