The little Manatee River.

Along our campground.

We are spending the next four nights in Ruskin Florida. For those of you wondering where Ruskin is... it is about 30 miles south of Tampa. It was the best we could do on short notice for reservations.

It was a short 150 mile drive, so we got here at 12.30 and spent the afternoon in their very large laundry facilitie. We do not know who is dirtying all those clothes.

We are doing our shopping in Sun City. Yes, Sun City, with McCoulloch Dr. and everything. It is just a few miles up the road.

The park is called Hideaway RV Resort. The entrance winds through with over a half mile of palm trees lining the road. It's a 55+ park with lots of park model homes. Everyone is very friendly and nice. From here we plan to take the car to Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota.

A couple of day trips to see the area.
