|This day started out slow because the kids were going whitewater rafting but that wasn't until 1:45 pm, so everyone was just hanging out. Candy and I were going to take Zander and Zyler because they were to young for the rafting trip.
We decided to take the boys to the Ober Gatlinburg, which starts out with a ride up the mountain aerial tramway,
what a spectacular ride up the mountain.
We pasted the other tram going down on our way up.
When you arrive at the top it is quite a sight with all the activities that were happening.
There is an ice rink, slides down the side of the mountain, water slides and kiddie rides.
The boys had lots of fun on the water slide, chair swing. Candy and Zander took the chair lift up to the top of the ski area, Zander came back down on the dry track simulated bob sled ride, Candy rode the chair lift back, she is not ready for the bob sled ride. Zyler and myself waited for them and had a funnel cake.
The kids getting ready for the adventure down the rapids on their rafting trip.
We told Stephanie to get the pictures that the rafting company takes while you are rafting. They did, but as you see they are in the background of all the pictures taken, not very good. At lest they got them at a discount.
We headed back to the motorhome around 5:00 pm, Stephanie called and they were on their way back to the campground also. We stopped at the local Food City, big NASCAR sponsor, to pick up some need supplies for the campsite. We are looking for something to do on Wednesday that doesn't cost an arm and leg. This area is great if you have a small family and rich. Everything cost so much, wanted to take the kids to splash country over at Dollywood but at $44.00 per kids that was out of the question, we have 6 kids with us this trip. Think we will go over to Cades Cove to visit some caverns and into the Smokey Mountain National park to have a picnic and let the kids run.
