Arrived at Souvarnabhumi Airport at 7 o'clock in the morning. The flight from Qatar took 6.5 hrs. After immigration and custom controls which took another hour, I only had one problem, transport to the city of Bangkok. I made it easy and let the touts stir me to an overpriced taxi. I guess that I payed 50% overprice. Arrived at Nana Hotel around 9;30, despite the rushing hours in the Bangkok traffic and luckily got my hotel room almost immediately. After that I have been sleeping a couple of hours, I'm ready for new adventures
Mostly a sleeping day. Jet lag and the long time of traveling took some effort of me.
Go to Khao San road. Bangkok's backpacker center. Always fun to go there. Here You meet all kind of people.
Visited Chatuchak market, also called Weekend market. It is a huge area cramped with thousands of stalls, which sells almost everything, food clothes, You name it.
Visited Bangkok's Chinatown. Walked the Sampeng Lane, Which is Chinatown's walking street.
It gave me an claustrophobic experience. Almost impossible to go forward without collide with someone or something.
