The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

The pups are on the road.

Fellow travelers having lunch in front of our RV.

The plan was to drive as far as Fort Stockton, it was early afternoon, so we pushed another 100 miles. We made a stop at a rest area for lunch and a break. Three more RV's from Oregon stopped as well and we all had lunch together and shared our travels.

They were on their way to San Antonio to do the River Walk and enjoy a warmer climate.

This was a just another overnight stop, and we decided to get a campground with electric hookup so we could have heat. We found a motel (Friendly Inn) with full hookups for cheap. It worked out well, because it was very cold and we were able to run our furnace all night on their dime.
