The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

Where is it.

Oh there it is.

Looking for Colorado.

There it is.

Our campsite north of Durango.

What to do now?

We left Moab heading to Durango, Colorado. This is the 2nd longest distance we have traveled in one day (160+ miles). When we leave our campsites we just wake up the kids and put them back on our bed hoping they sleep for a couple hours while we are driving. That works for Jay, he can sleep till noon or better. Ava tries but ends up keeping us company.

We climbed a couple summits close to 9000 feet before hitting the Colorodo boarder.

We are staying at Alpine Rose Campground about 4 miles north of Durango. We have a very shady spot and can finally spend some time outside. The kids almost always have the pool to themselves.

Cool sleeping at night.
