We did venture out of camp and took a drive to Park City, UT. Larry took a back windy road through the Wasatch Back National Forest. It was a 20 mile winding road with switchback along the way. We promised the kids we would not return the same way.

Park City is a Mountainside Resort popular for its winter sports. The Utah Olympic park was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The drive into town took us pass many ski slopes. This has to be a ski mega in the winter.

We walked around town and did a little shopping as well as having lunch. We took the kids over to the lodge so they could ride the alpine slide. They took a ski lift up the mountain and sled down. Glad we had them on the chair lifts earlier so they were comfortable going up by themselves. Of course they wanted more, it was hot and also a little expensive. We opted for shaved ice and headed home.
