Life is good, "God Bless America".

Hi All, If we all remember out history lesson we know who Jefferson Davis was. Rich in history, Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis's estate)is the home of the only President of the Confederate States of America and the place where he penned his memoirs. The 51 acre estate, fronting the Gulf of Mexico, was also once the site of the Mississippi Confederate soldier's home, which cared for hundreds of Southern veterans and their wives, There is a historic cemetery in which lies the Tomb Of the Unknown Confederate Soldier. We certainly did learn a lot of forgotten history. Beauvoir(French for beautiful view). The house, completed by 1852. Also, Jefferson Davis was know as "The Man Without A Country". Hope you enjoy the pictures, wish I could send more. I know y'all are tired of hearing this, but the weather has been very nice. Until later, Jim & Kathy
