Sunshine after rain

| Yesterday was mostly rainy, so as soon as the sun came out we went for a walk. 5 minutes before I took this picture it was pouring. The heron was enjoying the sunshine. Today we spent the morning washing windows and doing housework etc. Then as we went out for a walk these 2 Chinook choppers flew over. This twisted tree is on the road out of the marina. There are lots of these Red Kites flying around this area - apparently they are quite prolific now after being very rare for many years. |
