We had moved base to just outside Porthmadog for the next two weeks as there is a lot to explore in this area. Porthmadog was once a major port used for the transportation of slate and was named by William Alexander Madocks after himself and the Welsh Prince Madog.

On our first day we had a walk along the coast from Porthmadog with views across the Glaslyn estuary. It was just lovely walking in the warm sunshine and Daisy enjoyed a romp on the beach but she still will not go anywhere near the water.
