Sugar Mill


We took advantage of the sunshine this afternoon and went for a walk.

There is a definate chill in the air even though the sun is warm.

Only 3 weeks into Autumn and the leaves on the trees are turning and the berries are all beautiful colours.

This beautiful Robin red breast posed for me.

In the background you can see the steam pouring out of the chimney of the sugar beet processing plant. The air smells much the same as the sugar cane mills. They don't grow sugar cane here, and the beet grows in the ground similar to a turnip.
