6217 miles over 3 months.
We will be in Overgaard for a few days. The plan is to park the motorhome at the cabin for a few weeks. We will take home what we can pack in the car and get the rest later.
Again, it was a fun trip. We covered a lot of territory. The first month up the west coast gave Ava and Jay some new adventures. Riding cable cars, visiting the beach, a light house, a sea lion cave and gigantic redwood trees. Hope they have enough to write their "what I did this summer" report.
We became Lewis and Clark explorers, following their footsteps whenever possible. It gives you a view of how brave and determined they were. We had the comfort of the motorhome, electricity, hot water, maps/GPS and a phone call away from help. They were 40 men determined to find the Pacific Ocean through unexplored lands.
We visited with family most of August, covering a lot of Minnesota to do that.
After leaving Minnesota we were ready to head home. It's funny how once you make the turn back west you get homesick.
Not sure what next year will bring. Stay tuned.
