|Well, Murphy's been at it again!!!! It snowed all night, so there was 3 inches on the car when we went out at 7.30am.
So the worry was that the water would be frozen over and we wouldn't be able to go back in.
Tony put the new nut on the prop shaft (£98.worth) while the boat was still on the back of the lorry.
Within 1/2 an hour TranQuill was back sitting in the water and ready to go.
So Tony drove the boat around to the Thames and Kennet Marina while I drove the car around to find out where they were going to moor us.
We got ourselves tied up and then proceeded to put everything back in place and put the canvas canopy back up. All the canvas was taken down as it gets blown around too much while travelling on the lorry.
So by midday we had just about finished, had a little sit down and then lunch. Then went into Reading to get a few bits and pieces and are now having a rest. The car has to go back tomorrow by midday, so hopefully the snow has abated by then.
