First Congregational Church, Littleton, NH.

(Ron Writing) This morning we attended The First Congregational Church in Littleton, VT. We went to the adult bible study before the worship service and then after the worship service we were invited to a light lunch in the parlor before attending a special class that is studying and discussing a DVD lesson series entitled “Living the Questions”. This very interesting class was led by a retired minister.

This church has a very long history. It was organized in 1803 and the present church building was constructed in 1832. It has fifteen Tiffany stained glass windows that were installed in 1902. They are of exceptional quality and very beautiful.

This afternoon we relaxed at home. It rained just a little today and tonight it’s supposed to get down to 30°! Wow, we thought winter was over – hope it doesn’t snow!
