Sacagawea statue in Three Forks Town Center.

The Jefferson and Madison Rivers join to make the Missouri.

The Gallatin river joins in.

Mission one complete.

Hang in there friends. We are getting close to the end of or Lewis and Clark journey.

Another drive to Three Forks. This is birthplace of the Missouri River. It is where the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers converge to form the Missouri - the longest single river in North America. Lewis and Clark visited this site in July 1805. The town honors Sacagawea with a statue in city center and a grand hotel named after her.

From here we are heading to Helena and then on to Great Falls.
