Another side trip to Camp Fortunate. All we have are historical markers and post to show.

Camp Fortunate is the location where Sacagawea led the expedition through Shoshone territory. At this point she had an unexpected reunion with her brother Chief Cameahwait. This reunion led to the Shoshone's help with providing the expedition with help such as guides and horses. Thus the name Camp Fortunate.
