Well now ... we are way behind on our trip journal postings ... time is flying!

July 8th we made the short trip from Orange to Danville VT. We will be at Sugar Ridge until the end of August. Little Bentley did wonderful riding in his kennel from Orange to Danville.

Sugar Ridge is a wonderful campground and is very kid and dog friendly. There was lots of room to walk and bike, including easy access to the rail trail. Bentley was introduced to many many new friends ( both two and four legged) and this socialization was oh so important for all of us. We visited family and friends and had many day long (and a couple overnight) visits with Isaiah ( our grandson ) He enjoyed the campground, spending much time on the playground, plus many rides on the horse drawn wagon. We were also able to take him into town for a few visits with his great gramma and grandpa ( aka “Mia & Opa”) oh my, how much that little guy has grown since last October! Isaiah turned 4 years old, and we enjoyed a wonderful gathering at Joe’s Pond to celebrate his special day.

We also had a special visit from one of Tom’s cousins and his family from Switzerland. Family gathered for a big meal with them in Montpelier at Tom’s sisters house, and they also drove out to Sugar Ridge to see the motorhome and visit one afternoon.

We met several people Tom used to work with that camp short term or seasonal at Sugar Ridge. Additionally met many many other nice folks during our stay here.

The time did go by quickly and before we knew it, the end of August was upon us. It was time to say goodbye to our family and friends, and head west to MN to see Michelle, Patrick and our grand children there.

We wished time could have allowed visits with everyone we wanted to see, but for those we missed we will be back....

2-Ole-Buddies & Bentley wish everyone a wonderful fall and winter season, keep in touch and enjoy our journeys.... We’re back on the road .....
