WE took a ridiculously early ferry to the Isle of Skye this morning ( we had to be on the bus at 6:15 am!) Our first stop was a castle ruins that is haunted and falling apart so we could only look at it and listen to stories about it. We headed over to a place called Kilt Rock next. Basically just cliffs on the ocean that look really cool.

We went hiking for lunch to the fairy ponds at Glen Silgachen. There was a gorgeous waterfall there were we ate our lunch and little ponds which are supposedly for the fairies on the island. Fergus decided to jump into the pons in his undies and a couple from the tour joined him. But the one girl jumped in and I took a picture on to find out after that she was in fact topless. Bit of a shock. All the power to her though!

We made our way over to Eilean Donan castle which is the most photographed castle in Scotland. We did a tour of the castle. Was really cool to see inside. A bagpiper was playing outside to add to the atmosphere.

We stayed in a place called Kyleakin that night in Saucy Mary's hostel and pub. A band was playing in the pub that night so I watched a bit of that before heading to bed early.
