|We traveled over and back from PEI on the 7 mile Confederation Bridge. There are webcams located on the bridge and I sent a text to Linda, my sister in Tampa, and she watched our crossing on her computer and took a photo of it. We had an easy border crossing back to the USA and spent the next two nights at Pumpkin Patch which is a very nice campground. Although our tour is officially over there were 6 coaches traveling together. Two of the other coaches ended up at that campground while we were there so we had a noisy gathering each night at the restaurant on the property of the campground. On Wednesday we went exploring with Terry and Doug and toured Fort Knox. We used the Roadside America app on our Smart Phones which has some "unusual" sites to visit in the area. We saw large statue of Paul Bunyon and the grave of the founder of Bucksport which has a stain on the grave marker that looks like a leg (and a tale to go along with it). We also used our smart phones to locate some geocaches. Speaking of smart phones, in Canada I had to turn off my data so had no way to look up anything. When someone in our caravan would ask a question over the radio like "why do you think the flags are at half-mast?", I would text Linda and she would look it up and within minutes I was telling the caravan the answer. So, I would like to thank her for making me look so "smart".
