Arriving at the depot

All Aboard!

Jim had pneumonia a few months ago when Diane, MaryJane, John and I went on the Copper Spike Railway. A return visit was on the "to do" list and today was the day. It was just as much fun as the first time . One big difference - the last time we were the only four people on the train, today there wasn't an empty seat.

The train runs from December to the end of April. The head steward was telling us that he will go home to Colorado for a few weeks before going to the Adirondacks to work on the train there for the summer . This job is a second career for him and he seems to enjoy it very much.

Supposed to go to an Arizona Diamondback spring training game tomorrow but the weather forecast is for rain and high winds. Seems like gusty winds is all we had this winter. I hope the rain holds off - I love baseball games and it would be a huge disappointment if we couldn't go. This was my Christmas present from Diane and Jim. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
