Crean's and the Guys' adventure travel blog

We followed the foothills of the Pyrenees stopping briefly at Pamplona, and then on to San Sebastian, one of our favouritie cities in Spain. Found the same car park we´d had last time, thank goodness and then set out to find a room for the night. Ended up at E65 - ouch!- but its Film Festival time so busy. the beach is only a few minutes walk away so guess where we headed- its very hot so the swim was much appreciated. Hundreds on the beach but plenty of room for four weary Kiwis for a few hours of r and R. It´s such a beautiful city- elegant tree lined streets, exquisite buildings, wide expanses of golden sand and of course the river with its elegant bridges running through the centre of the city. I caught up on the internet writing and then in the evening we enjoyed a meal in a cafe in a large tree filled square, rounding out a great day.
