The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

One replacement.

Front to rear.

Campsite in Williams.

A little UNO after the drive.

We're off!!

We left home around 7:30am. Not a smart thing to do considering it was 'rush hour'. We got through town without any trouble. Note - that going from our house to North Phoenix is about a 50 mile drive.

Then.......a flat tire! Thank goodness we were just on the edge of town and not on the road in the middle of the desert. We limped off the Freeway and started calling tire stores. Purcell Tires had what we needed. So a couple new tires, some rotating, and a credit card charge later we were back on the road. Now it was close to noon.

Williams was just another 115 miles up the road.

We are camped at the the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park. It is a very nice, well kept park. We can walk to the train depot from here.

The weather is beautiful. 80 during the day and upper 40's at night. Yea!!
