FER:

FER:

So we just had an awesome HUGE seafood dinner. I had Shark and Caro had Red Snapper both fresh (or so they tell us =) Anyway, it was all good and just another dinner when a couple arrived and took the table next to us, ordered some beers, (no food), and for some reason as soon as the waiter poured the beer, THEY LEFT. "WHAT A WASTE" I told Caro, as we saw them leave the parking lot and the beers just sitting on the table. JUST STARING AT ME!!! Did I mention it's freaking hot here? I mean COME'ON what was I to do with COLD BEER staring at me. ;) Ofcourse I dared Caro to go get them but typical Caro was like, "No way, people are staring and they'll see". It took some coaxing but to my surprise she agreed, with the condition that we had to CHUG them before the waiter returned. I was like "Serious, HELL YEAH, go get them" She did, we chuged them and put the glasses back by the time the waiter came back to pick them up, LOL. Yeah, he looked around with a look of "WHO DONE IT" =) We just sat there with a satisfied look on our face =)

Anyway, we've left Panjim and are now in Palolem. Yesterday while on the bus heading here we ran into TWO ELEPHANTS. One was so close that Caro sitting next to the window could have reached out and touched it, but she chickened out. Later we also saw a white monkey on the trees. We were able to take pics of the Elephants, but not the Monkey. From what we've seen of India so far which includes, Mumbai, Panjim, Agonda, Patnam and Palolem it's a jungle. And with it comes MOSQUITOES...LOTS. We've gos quite the collection of bites and that's after using not only bug repealing lotion but spray as well. To top it off, we're living A'la Tarzan, in windowless bamboo huts surrounded by jungle. Caro took a pic of me showering outside and since it's rated PG i'll post it later when we find out what's wrong with this comp.

The pics you see here are from last week while in Panjim with our friend and host VERNON. They are from around Panjim, people working the fields, the market, the taxis and the dead EEL is from that beach that STINKS. The guecamole lake wsa right around the corner from where we were staying. Not sure what it actually is, but it looked a whole lot like guacamole =)

Ok we're out for now, but we'll try a different internet cafe tomorrow and post more pics.

Nando and Caro =)
