Just a quick update on where we are with our settling in. Tom’s comments are we are living like little squirrels. Opening boxes and looking for items we were sure we had put in the box, or maybe it was this box, or this box…..it’s always those last few days of packing that things find their way into little holes to fill the box…almost like xmas in Oct.

It hasn’t been all work we’ve added a little play time and took off with dear friends on Sunday and went to the (little river shrimp festival). We had the option to park and take a water taxi to the festival going down the intercostal waterway which added to the fun. While enjoying good food, good beer and lots of fun shops and local flair Mr. Tom was hanging out with the Mates of Pirates Treasure House…..

Yesterday we took our motorhome out for a ride destination Conway, SC for a tire inspection. We knew the front tires were due to be changed wasn’t sure about the back ones. We would say they held their own as all the tires have reached their maximum time limit 10 yrs. We are now having not just two but six brand new Michelin 315/80/22.5 put on. After the sticker shock safety of course is our number one priority. Considering I’m now as Tom says a senior we thought why not ask for a discount…haha

Will admit the company we took the motorhome to (Tire Town) was a great place and they did shave the price and we moved forward with the order. Before we left the lot two were being installed and the other will arrive today. We will have our home on wheels back in no time, then on to its next appointment to have all the service done so we will be road ready.

For our northern friends you will enjoy this tad bid of news we are having a cold front pass through. Of course a southern cold being close to the ocean means moisture and with the wind it does have a slight chill in the low 50’s. Of course do they really know what cold means…… that’s it for now enjoy our pictures and any comments are welcome….
