|We will be crossing into Vermont for our first time ever here. Thought we would see some of the colors coming in but as we drove north the trees have not started to change. Only 140 miles to Burlington but it took us 5 hours to get to Burlington, all two lane roads. We arrived at North Beach Campground which is a city campground. It is very nice with full hookups on the shore of Lake Champlain. One issue we had was they only had a site for one night. The guy running the campground is from Michigan so he figured out a way we could stay until Monday, had to move to another site but it worked for us. After the interesting drive we got set up and that was it for the day.
