Today we headed into the nearby town of Antibes. We parked near the harbour and spent our first hour just admiring the multi-million pound boats. One was just gorgeous and we discovered by talking to a local that it was just 5 months old, built in the Netherlands and had cost over 100 million Euros .It also required 25 to 30 crew. We also learnt due to regulations even with its size it could only have 12 guests otherwise there would have been a requirement for full lifeboats etc and that would have spoilt the look!
We then wandered through the old town and then further along the sea front enjoying the sunshine.
Time had gone by once again and it was late afternoon leaving Antibes and we caught the rush hour which was a bit of a nightmare.
