KAPOORS ON THE ROAD

This flight was the first we had ever taken on Swiss Air. Anil and I love to make lists relating to our travels, and now we were able to add Swiss Air to our list of airlines we’ve flown. It was a short hop from Gatwick To Zurich, and we were very comfortable of course, but it was the attention I was given once we landed that left a memorable impression.

I had requested a wheelchair because of my twisted ankle and cane, and the man who met us at the airport was so kind and attentive. He whisked us through the airport, from one area of the terminal to another and once we arrived at the gate, I told him I could manage on my own. Nothing doing, he told me that I was now his responsibility and he would stay with us until I boarded our flight, even if it was late.

As it turned out, our flight was delayed for one hour, and true to his word, he kept us company and took me right down the gangway. He said they have dozens and dozens of attendants – he radioed in that he was now free and received instructions for his next passenger needing assistance.
