Halifax waterfront on Canada Day

Clarence telling the bagpiper about his friend Walter

Guess you can't play the bagpipes if you have on a heavy...

Mahone Bay, Beautiful churches

This area of Nova Scotia has been experiencing an exceptional amount of rain. We are making the best of it and enjoying the periods of sunshine if and when it occurs. We went to the famous lighthouse at Peggy's Cove and got to hear a bagpiper. Our friend, Walter, might want to consider coming up here and playing his bagpipes next summer. On July 1st, Canada Day, we went to a parade in downtown Nova Scotia. We had a great lunch on the water front and looked around a little between showers. The owners of the King Neptune Campground have a picnic each year for their friends and for those staying at the campground. The food was the best picnic food you could ever ask for. The next day we drove to Mahone Bay to see how they make jewelry and other items out of pewter. We continued on to Lunenburg to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Buzz located a Pub for lunch where the locals gather and it had the best fried Haddock we have had on the trip. We even found an RV service place and Adlai bought a new water pump to replace the one that had gone bad in his RV.
