I-40 closed and trucks are stopped.

Penny holding an alien????!!!!!

Cindy holding an alien!!!!!?????

The weather certainly has impacted our trip recently; We had to re-winterize our RV'S before leaving Las Vegas due to the low temperatures forecast going east, we had to cancel most of our travel day today because of a severe blizzard hitting the Plains, and as the storm is forecast to continue Through Wednesday, we have to go South a bit to get around the storm. This may add a couple days to or travel time until the storms passes.

The photo for this writing shows the I-40 closed to all traffic east bound In Albuquerque, NM. These folks don't mess with these storms, they simply close the interstates before the roads go into the mountains. At 7:00 PM the I-40 is still closed. This was the route we were going to use after our visit to Roswell today. We took an alternate route To Roswell and we're planning to go further south from here On Tuesday.

We are going to do the tourist thing and go to the Roswell Museum tomorrow, then go to Carlsbad Caverns later in the day. Wednesday we will adjust our travel direction for our trip eastward.

In the Meantime Cindy and Penny were looking for aliens as depicted by the photo. FULL MOON IN ROSWELL!
